How Can throat Tightness Be Treated?
It feels like my throat is tightening and or swelling. It does not feel like it does normally when I get a cold or sore throat. I drink water and it helps when I am drinking but then it goes back to the tightening feeling. Do I need to be worried. I have no known allergies.

Without examination here difficult to reach on one diagnosis...
It might be sore throat or posterior pharynx inflammation case..
Your posterior pharynx has to be examined and if change in voice present then indirect laryngoscopy done
Decongestant like phenylephrine can be prescribed for that if needed...
If fever and congestive symptoms occurs then CBC and ASO titre done for that
